The Theory of the Leisure Class (Modern Library Classics)
Thorstein Veblen, Alan Wolfe
Trefoil - M.C. Moore Meckenzie and her siblings Taggart and Kellan are blonder than you, prettier than you, richer than you, smarter than you, fitter than you and oh yeah, are magical fairy royalty. The majority of this story is comprised of:
A)the triplets being given various jewelry, each more beautiful and magical than the next,
B)Meckenzie verbally "sparring" with the hot mysterious dude who just transfered to her school and is obsessed with getting to know her, and
C)various characters telling the triplets how awesome their new magical powers are.

I have no problem with wish-fullfillment fiction written to scrath the author's id. But this doesn't even have that energy going for it. It's just plain bad.
